Special education advocacy & consulting

Every child deserves an advocate who sees them.

Navigating special education can leave families feeling unheard. Invisible Advocates puts an experienced school psychologist in your corner — so your child gets the support the law entitles them to.

Why "Invisible"
Too many children move through school with needs that go unseen — and too many parents are left to fight a system they were never taught to navigate. My work is simple: make the unseen visible, and make sure your child is heard.
About

Two decades inside the system — now in your corner.

I've spent more than twenty years as a school psychologist in New York City public schools, evaluating students, writing and interpreting IEPs, and sitting at the table where decisions about children get made. I know how those meetings work, what the paperwork really means, and where a child's needs can quietly slip through the cracks.

Invisible Advocates brings that inside knowledge to your side of the table. Whether you're preparing for a meeting, trying to make sense of an evaluation, or simply want someone experienced to tell you honestly what your options are — I'm here to help you advocate with confidence.

The Handbook — now available

The guide I wish every caregiver had.

Written for foster and kinship caregivers navigating special education, The Invisible Advocate's Handbook is a plain-language guide to knowing your rights, preparing for meetings, and making sure the child in your care is seen and heard.

Built on the voices of ten caregivers who lived every page of it — for caregivers, not lawyers, and made to be used.
